Elbert County's First Responder Program is comprised of specially trained individuals from both the Elbert County Fire Department and the City of Elberton Fire Department. These individuals must complete a State Approved First Responder Course and regulary attend refresher training courses to keep their skills up to date.

We are very proud of our First Responder Program and all the men and women who volunteer their time to help Our Community.

We currently have AED's stationed at the 9 Volunteer Fire Departments as well as the City of Elberton Fire Department. Our First Responders are trained in the use of these life-saving devices.
